I was blessed to have a master bedroom and laundry room added on to my home. Unfortunately, the contractor that did the work did not properly install the roof. The contractor did not tie the old roof into the new roof and shingles were not properly installed. My roof have been leaking in the laundry room for several years. The contractor that installed the roof had a massive heart attack and past away. He too had patched it a couple times. With El Nino coming this year I began seeking estimates for repair on my roof. A friend of mine recommended A-1 American Roofing because he used them to put on (3) roofs at (3) different locations. I went into the Carson office and spoke with Robin. Johnny Hernandez was the sales representative who came to my home to give me an estimate. He was very professional, patient and thorough as he explained the roofing process. He suggested that I replace the entire roof due to so many layers, years of wear on the other shingles and improper installation. I decided on the spot to move forward and get a roof replacement. Rafael and his crew torn off the old roof which in some spots had 4-5 layers. They would arrive early and worked late until the evening. They cleaned up the yard everyday prior to them leaving for the day. Rafael was very professional in installing my new roof. The shingles that were delivered were bad. The crew stopped working and waited for a whole new patch of shingles to be delivered. That shows that they are honest and respect the job they are doing. They completed the roof on Saturday and it looks BEAUTIFUL. Rafael, Johnny and the crew were a joy and pleasure to have met and worked with. Johnny was always available to answer questions and concerns. I am so happy that I decided to go with replacing the roof rather than a repair job. I would not hesitate to recommend A-1 American Roofing Company to anyone who need a roof or roof repair. Thank you!!!

I am very happy with my new roof. The process of selecting a roofing company can be nerve racking. But I found A-1 All American to have the best quote and Mark Keil made the process of changing my roof so easy. Mark is professional and always replied to my emails with questons promptly. The crew worked so hard to get the job done quickly. They cleaned up at the end of each day, my patio was spotless. I would highly recommend this company! Mark Keil is a delightful person. A neighbor recommended A-1 All American Roofing. We have an older flat roof
which we thought might need replacing. Johnny Hernandez recommended a pressure
wash, resealing of seams and a reflective, protective coating thus saving us the cost
of a new roof. The work was completed in a professional manner. The crew came
on time and cleaned up the work area at the end of the day. The work was completed
in 2 days as promised. Johnny took photos so we have a record of the finished product.

A-1 All American Roofing Co is fabulous! From the moment I contacted them, they were professional, curteous, and responsive. Johnny Hernandez came out and inspected my roof, and then took the time to slowly explain everything, as I was a novice, having never owned a home before. His bid also came in cheaper than 3 other bids I got, and was just as ""complete"" as the others.

Johnny's crew was amazing! He had a great job superintendent, and many workers on the roof at once to help them complete the job quickly. 3 days from start to finish, and very neat and detailed. My roof looks fabulous! And they ensured that they were careful to cover my patio furniture and pool, and even inside my garage (even though it didn't really need to be covered). Clean-up was also just as efficient - no loose nails anywhere.

I would highly recommend them to anyone needing new roof or just roof repair. They also do insulation if you need it.

A Johnnie Hernandez came out and gave me this estimate re roof over second bedroom deck area, install new shingles at tie in of area at $2850
four other roofing companies came with their separate quotes ranging from only 650 to the last one who was only going to charge 350 service fee, the others all determined my roof to be in good condition except for a tiny area that just had to be patched
When I phoned Mr Hernandez to explain, he said my roof was irreparable and when I said how can all those companies and one took a photograph be wrong. He hung up on me.
