We had this company out to do some dry rot repairs to our fascia boards on our roof they were much to high and difficult for the average person.
The price was reasonable and much less than the general contractor we got a quote from. The guys did a great job and left a clean work site.

Completely terrible company. Prior home owners paid to have a roof leak fixed and hired this company. I moved in and I was then offered being the new home owner a ""warranty"" of additional $200 that would ensure should it leak they would come and fix it no questions asked. Once summer ended and the first rain hit the leak was back and John came out to ""fix"" the leak, 45 mins later he left after said repairs. Then the storm hit and blew through said repairs and found more locations to leak from. John came back with a crew of 4 spend about 4 hours doing god knows what, left without word and then week later it rained from 5 different locations in the roof. I've called John Fleenor 4-5 times and left 3 voicemails. Completed ghosted my wife and I. Now my home is leaking and ruining our furniture and brand new carpets. I now have to find a new company to help fix this horrific mess. Do yourself a favor and don't ever hire this company.

Can't say enough good things about John and A-1 affordable Roofing. I first met John on a Stormy day while he was sick and rain was coming down inside my home. He came out managed to keep the Rain out of my house while the rain,wind and lightning was hammering our area. Of course after that I had to have this honest hard working man come back and replace and fix all that was wrong with my older roof. Of course dry rot was a factor but he and his team replaced all of that and put on a beautiful energy efficient roof. Only been a month but my energy costs have gone down and I'm very happy with the results. We purchased a home in Sacramento in September 2016. John of A-1 Affordable Roofing gave us an estimate for replacing a section of roof that was leaking (over a sun room). We ended up hiring him to not only fix the roof, but also make all the Section 1 repairs.

Even though there was a mix-up between John and the seller's agent (fault of the agent, not John), he still honored his bid. He did a fantastic job on the roof and all the Section 1 work (mostly replacing rotting beams, etc.) and we are very happy with the results. The storms this winter have been incredible, and we haven't experienced any problems with leaks.

He reminds me a little of a Southern gentleman without the accent -- his handshake is more reliable than a contract. When we are in need of a new roof I will definitely be calling him.
