805 Construction and Roofing just completed re-roofing my entire house, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Many months ago, during a huge storm in February, my roof leaked through an electrical outlet into the garage! Tyler came out first thing the next day and tarped the area where the roof had leaked, and sent me an estimate to do a partial repair, or do the entire roof, which was the original from 1986. It was clearly time to do the whole roof. Tyler's price was very reasonable compared to other estimates I received, and added to his prompt response from the original leak made 805 Construction and Roofing the obvious best choice when I was ready to move forward. I couldn't be happier with the work he and his team did. They arrived promptly at 7 AM, as promised, every day, and worked diligently and efficiently throughout the days. They cleaned up thoroughly every day, and were so professional and pleasant. I told Tyler I was concerned about the possible tar smell, and the team never opened the container until they needed to, and in the four days they were here, I never once smelled the tar. They were so careful to address that concern, something I really appreciated. Tyler also answered all of my questions, and pointed out and replaced some wood that had developed dry rot. He also quickly ordered fire resistant vents when I requested those for the roof. I would highly recommend 805 Construction and Roofing, I truly could not have had a better experience!

This is the second house Tyler has installed a new roof for our family. This time there was a bit more wood to replace due many years of termite damage. Tyler and crew went through every inch of the roof decking to make sure we replaced any damaged wood. Luckily most of the roof decking we were able to keep. Tyler also replaced some of the facia. The installed roof was completed within 3.5 days! This included the tear off of the old roof. His crew cleaned everything up at the end of each day. Tyler is a great communicator keeping us updated every day and we really felt comfortable knowing Tyler is extremely knowledgeable and informative. Thank you Tyler and your crew for an awesome job! Tyler and his team were Great! Our roof was 30 years old and leaking with the recent storms. We needed a full replacement and being a big ticket item, we got several quotes. Although Tyler was the best/lowest quote, his quality/references of previous jobs were in line if not better than others. He was friendly, efficient and did an amazing job. We used to dread pulling up to the house and seeing our old worn roof, but now enjoy seeing the new Solaris shingles!

Patio roof as we always have had trouble with this room and it always leaks he came over the same day I called and gave me a quote the same nite. We had called another roofer that said he would come by weeks before and never did. Tyler started the work a few days later and finished the next day. He did a fabulous job is the most reliable person we have met he cleaned up everything thing and every thing is great ! We put new floors in our patio room. Every thing is perfect. Tyler and his crew are amazing. Prompt, hard-working, and masters of their trade. I called around town for some new roof estimates, 5 total, and 805 Construction and Roofing landed right in the sweet spot. They are a locally owned family business. It's worth mentioning they timed our roof replacement between some rainy days. Worked a long day Thursday to get the water-proofing installed, we got rain on Friday, and then they worked Saturday to finish the job. Tyler was very communicative about scheduling and honest about pricing. He even made suggestions about roof color choices and vent types. These guys are top notch and we are stoked with our new roof. No more leaks, yay!

Tyler and the 805 Crew were great. I quoted 6 places in the Simi Valley area that all had good reviews on Yelp. Not surprisingly, 1 place didn't even have a voice mail and 2 other contractors never called me back. Of the other 3 quotes I received, 805 was the best and Tyler seemed very open and honest and easy to deal with. And that's how the entire project unfolded... It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end and I wish all contractors were like this. The world needs more good contractors for sure. Isn't it amazing that we end up with so many terrible contractors who leave work unfinished, are dishonest and just plain suck? Well they should learn how to run their business from 805.

Tyler started the day he said he would and finished the entire job in a single week. And it's perfect and water tight. This is on a single story 2200 sq. Ft. house with 3 old layers of shingles on top of original shake roof. He had to do all the sheathing too since there wasn't any on the house to begin with.

We finally had to get our over 40 year old tile roof repapered as there was some ceiling damage inside our home. It's always nerve-racking getting bids for projects like these and we settled on 3 companies. Tyler's bid was over 20% lower than the other companies and we decided on 805 Construction because of the ratings here on Yelp. We are happy with their overall workmanship and professionalism and recommend them wholeheartedly.
