So the company isn't so good in my opinion, actions and the quote are my reasoning but let me set the stage.

My grandmother who's 89 lives in a 2 floor house wanted to add a shower to our downstairs restroom to turn it into a bathroom. Now she set an appointment to this company for the 25th in April and since the 18 of said month they wanted to make an earlier appointment. Now again usually at that age you see doctors more than going out. Sadly she cave into their request and did it on the 21.

When the guy came normal usually but when I came in (was out) the guy did seem normal but I did sense something. I'm clueless on most things when it comes to construction and adding new/updating rooms so we had a family friend come to help us out. Once he came into the picture things started to be more weird. He wanted to open the wall up to like see this beem that's holding up the house to see if it's even possible. Now the offer was very weird so my family friend did it just to make us safe. As he was doing that the guy was trying to strong arm my grandma into signing to start the work.

Price isn't bad so say $32k was $35k. However the thing is the permit is $5k! For a bathroom like dear god. Then the whole blueprint guy, engineer, electric, plumber and the price just kinda kept going up. Now he did offer to still do the work no permit but also said ""you have to trust us"" with no blueprint. Which I get it liability saying.

He stated if she signed today work can start on Wednesday. She stated I need more time to think about it but the guy was very pushy trying to make her sign.

To the end she needed to go to her doc appointment and my mom came to pick her up. She when she enter the room to come get her to end the way to soon appointment. The guy wasn't so nice. When my mom was talking to him she wanted to get the things he would do on email and the price so that our next contractor appointment we can compare. I'm not sure how it happened in that but seem like the guy token offense to that and stated ""did you become a contractor last night?""
Now I was there about to snap at him but then he left cause that was very rude and unprofessional.

In short don't use them they might rip you off and be rude if they don't get their way

This firm is great !
I hired them after all the frustration resulted by two other contractors .
Daniel understood what we want exactly and came up with very helpful recommendations .
If you are looking for an honest business , don't neglect to consider them as an option !

I would like to say that Lucas tried hard, but he was dealing with bad subcontractors that he told me he will not use again. When he read my review, he noticed what it will cost me more than the $800 he deducted from my bill to replace my windshield on my new car that one of the workers scratched. He called me and said he feels responsible and will be sending me another $300 to make sure that no money comes out of my pocket to replace my windshield. That just shows that he is a good man and cares about his customers. When I had the inside of my house remodeled in 2015 everything went smoothly, so I had high expectations. But now I realize that that doesn't happen very often. The subcontractors created the problems not Lucas. He did take care of them and the job finally turned out pretty good.

This is an AMENDED review of 800Remodeling; Upon receipt of my correspondence to 800 Remodeling and posting the original review, Daniel contacted me the next day, viewed the project again and cleaned up the debris with pictures forwarded to me for my approval. It's all good, now!

Contracted with 800 Remodeling Nov 2023 for 2 block wall fences. Very personable, Daniel, was my primary contact. Third payment, a month later, was upon demolition & hauling away debris. I let Daniel know my displeasure & apprehension to pay the 3rd installment when the workers left early without notice or clearing away debris as contracted. He apologized reassuring me if I paid it would be handled, which it was. Seven months later, Daniel & I met to view the ""completed"" project. Upon approach the 1st thing he said,""Before you say anything the debris will be removed."" which I trusted because he previously kept his promise. regarding the cleanup. We signed a Contract Change Order to remove the debris & I made the FINAL payment against my better judgment. Well, a week elapsed & no cleanup. Now, into the 8th month, we scheduled a specific date/time, again, no cleanup & no response to my inquiries; radio silence! I emailed a formal letter with pictures to 800 Remodeling & Daniel, still no response & no cleanup.
