I had an amazingly drama-free experience with this contractor. After discovering a leak in my living room, I was frantically searching for roofing contractors, most of whom said ""can't see you for two months..."" Erast Dasari scheduled an inspection on short notice, gave me a thorough and unvarnished assessment of the roof, and scheduled and completed a total roof replacement in a week. Truly incredible service. I didn't have time to collect competitive bids, took a big risk on this company. While probably paid a premium, it was totally worth it, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

It all started years ago from a very small and painful leak in one of our buildings, we called multiple roofers but no one had a solution, we heard very interesting stories over the years none of them were actually true.

7x7 Does not have free inspections, its $585 to get an inspector to look at your roof but what you get is a 45 minute inspection with moisture mapping and thermal imaging, they have mapped the interior, looked at exterior, windows, siding connections and found the leak - window flashing!

These guys are incredible, they are a sister company with Eco Smart, we contacted both companies at the same time but 7x7 had better availability.

We are happy that we don't need a new roof, flashing is sealed and we went through two rains so far - ceiling is dry!!!

Our Bernal Heights home was just completed by 7x7 and we could not be happier with the work, service and professionalism! Our communication with them from the first email was quick and consistent. They were able to assess the needs of our home quickly with their fly over thermal technology which made things really seamless and easy for us as working professionals. I was so lucky to find 7x7 Roofing and luckier still that they had time on their busy schedule during an El Nino year. Our roof had been sadly neglected for a long time. Our chimney leaked, our skylights were drafty and our gutters were rusted through. They fixed everything perfectly and were great to work with. A few highlights:

1) Email! Being able to communicate needs, timing, price, logistics, etc, in email is the best way for me to get anything done. The team at 7x7 was so responsive. I never waited more than a day for them to get back to me.

2) Timeliness. They started the work as soon as they could and ahead of my expectations. They sent a big team who got the work done quickly. I was amazed how fast it all got done. When I found out we needed skylights replaced, i was worried that the work would be halted waiting for them to be ordered. 7x7 got them over night!

3) Quality. The team gave us a beautiful roof that has stood up to some really impressive rain storms. It wasn't the cheapest quote we could get but it was money _well_ spent. I was so nervous about getting this work done and having a terrible customer service experience. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the whole experience!

Professional from start to finish! First hurdle for any house related job in SF is getting somebody to answer your inquiry about their services. Erik of 7x7 promptly answered emails and actually picked up the phone and called when he really needed to reach us. Communication was clear and timely.
Then the actual roof inspection and eventual replacement were done with respectful staff and quality materials, again in a timely and intelligent manner. These guys know what they are doing and stand by their job.
We've dealt with a lot of house service people over the years and few were easy to work with and behaved like professionals. These guys are just top notch professionals who get your job done on time and with clear communication.

I am so happy to have found 7X7 Roofing. My Mom's roof had a history of leaks and El Niño was on its way. They promised to have the roof done before Christmas and delivered in a big way. Four layered roof with a new custom skylight in just two days - a crew of seven made it happen!! The house is on a side street and there is no direct access to the roof but they got all the materials up without building scaffold. Thanks 7X7 Roofing for a great, rapidly executed job!!!

This roofing contractor is the best! I actually called 7 roofing contractors, it's a sad story with a happy end.

Started looking around using google, few contractors popped up, I called 7 of them that looked somewhat ok.

First guy found out that I possibly have a small job since we didn't know about the extent of the damage and simply hang up on me, I called back thinking it was an accident but the same guy picked up and said that they don't do repairs right now - replacements only.

Second contractor said that they are busy for another three months and there is no way for someone to come out right now.

Third one - just didn't pick up and the voicemail was full so there is no way to leave a message.

So we are down to four roofing contractors - one of them is 7x7. I took a day off on one day and scheduled all four on the same day, first one at 7am, second one at 9am, third one at 11am and 7x7 was scheduled for 1pm.

Well the first contractor was late and actually came at 8:45am without calling in advance, he saw the second contractor, made an unhappy face and left, second contractor looked at the roof quickly and said we need a replacement as it is beyond repairable, third contractor said that there is a way to repair it but it's time consuming and can only happen when they are done with all of the other replacements they are doing right now, 2-3 months.

7x7 came in on time, they inspected the roof and did a thermal imaging mapping of the roofing system, figured out that the layer-to-layer connections in few places are failing, gave me a quote the next day for repair and installation of Elastomeric protection over repaired roof. It was easy and the job got completed in two days.

I should have given them a call first - confident and trustworthy contractor!

This is a great roofing company, from the moment we called them to the time when the entire project was successfully completed it was a smooth ride where every question and every email has been answered in a timely manner. These guys have an exceptional customer service and we truly appreciate that. I have called several roofing contractors, some don't pick up the phone, two answered and never showed up, only one other contractor made it but we didn't like the way they tried to sell us on a new roof when we only needed service and Elastomeric coating.

7x7 was great and I highly recommend it to people that don't want to be pressured into something they don't need.

This guys are AWESOME! They just finished installing our new roof and it by far exceeds my expectations. We were doing major house remodelling when noticed couple leaks on a ceiling. Looked on yelp for the businesses serving our area and those guys came up. Erast and Mira came to inspect my roof prior to giving us a quote. They used laser measurement and thermal imaging to evaluate how much of a damage our roofing deck had. At this moment, I knew they know what they are doing. The quote was a bit high compared to other contractors but my gut told me we should go with them. I called them the second time to discuss what their proposal includes and realized that they are offering the most value(deck repair, gutter replacement, special reinforcements, protective coating and etc). The project took 4 days and I can see that there were no cutting corners. They used based available resources on a market and really care of the quality of a work.
