Of the many companies that have worked on our house during the past 30 years, 619 Roofing is by far the best: excellent price, reliable, conscientious, and very considerate. The workers always arrived when they said they would and let us know in advance if they were not coming. Eric Lopez maintained excellent communication at all times and went FAR out of his way to make our experience as painless as possible (given that we had a huge job). He handled all the communication and scheduling with the other companies that had to be involved with our job -- one to deal with our solar panels and one to replace the fire sprinkler pipes that could be accessed only from the roof. After tearing off the old roof and finding significant termite damage and dry rot, Eric quickly created a bid to repair that damage and got the work completed in record time. Working with them was truly a pleasure. I just wish they did all sorts of other contracting work -- plumbing, electrical, etc. If they did, I'd never use anyone else. I recommend 619 Roofing as highly as possible--and then some.

From the staff that first took my call, the estimator that assessed my roof problem, the scheduler that established the start date, to the roofers who actually did the work, the entire job was seamless. I was not fortunate enough to have similar experience with 619 Roofing as other reviewers.

I had severe leak in four spots in a newly purchased home, my home warranty (American Home Shield, AHS) contracts their work through 619. My work order was expediated and I was informed by AHS that they spoke with 619 roofing to come out in 24 hours for evaluation/repair. 619 never reached out and I had to initiate the call with them. First they said they never received the work order from AHS which was later found to be because they didn't ""check"" their email. I call AHS again and they sorted this out with 619, Eric (one of the supervisors) informed them they would for sure come the next day. One more business day passes and I get a call to schedule for an ""inspection (not repair)"" one week out (during a rain season with rains expected in a week). Post inspection, they would send the report to AHS and the repair would be even further out.

I had a friend intentionally call with a different phone number with same symptoms without going through AHS and Abbey (receptionist?) informs my friend they can come out same day for evaluation and to provide his address.....

Basically I have two bedrooms with the ceiling dry walls completely soaked. Buckets in my attic and wasted two days just going back and forth with phone calls all while 619 focuses on who they can profit from the most while sidelining their contract works with home warranty companies. I could have at least asked for different contractors with AHS if Eric and the 619 team had been honest and told off AHS that they were ""busy"" and can't make the 24 hour window.

Horrible experience, I can only imagine the shortcuts they take with their roofing work.

As a veteran, I like straightforward people that don't beat around the bush, and will give you honest and accurate information. This team did just that, and more. On short notice, the team was able get the inspection done, and start work on my repair very quick. The estimator gave me the most accurate cost with no hidden fees after the the job was done. He was also very friendly and hard working. From the beginning to the end, the service provided to me was great, from all levels. If anything happens to my roof again, I know who I'm calling first! The best service in the San Diego area!

When does it rain in San Diego? We'll it did last week with some thunder and lightning! Unfortunately my roof wasn't prepaid for it. Rain was coming through in about 3 different spots. It was about 11:00pm and nobody was open I tried googling everyone. I found 619 roofing and they were able to come out and put a tarp over the leaks within the hour! The next morning they were able to repair my roof also even resealed my windows. Very thankful for 619! Will definitely keep their number saved!
