I worked with 512 Solar to install a Level 2 EV Charger in my home. They provided an incredibly seamless and professional experience throughout the process! I went with them initially because they were the only company who could provide an upfront estimate (after receiving some basic home info, like photos of the breaker and install location) without having to schedule a consult or service call. Since this is becoming a more common job (the City offers a rebate for it), it felt like a no duh moment, and I'm so glad I did. Everything from the organization of the project to the actual install itself was so incredibly easy and well within a good price range. Everything was communicated extremely well and I never felt out of the loop about what was going on or what was needed from my end. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this company. They are thorough, helpful, and efficient. It was only a few weeks from the time we received our quote to the time everything was installed. We are now running on solar. JP made it all very easy to understand and patiently answered all our questions. He really helped us with a concern on our electrical panel, as well. I worked with 512 Solar at the end of last year to get solar panels and met all my expectations. You can tell they have pride in their product. Everything was communicated very well (this cannot be understated). They helped with getting my rebate from Austin Energy and even when installation was done and paid, they still provided information for getting the renewable energy credit for my taxes.

JP Novak came and did the initial quote/assessment and having gotten several other quotes prior to this, it was nice to have someone fully knowledgeable on the product they were selling as well as the other options out there. I had all my questions answered and got a system designed where I was able to select the components that fit my needs/wants the best. I signed the contract mid August, panels scheduled for installation a week later, the crew was done in a day (29 panels), waited around for Austin Energy to come sign off on the work and add a new meter and now I'm all up and running today, about a month from start to finish. It was a great experience, JP and Jane were prompt in our communications, and the install crew was wonderful too (I requested that they not block the driveway on the day of the install and they just rolled with it, no questions asked).
My only wish is that Tesla would certify them for powerwall installations so I could work with the team I respect and trust at 512 Solar again.

Our solar panels didn't seem to be working, and I called 512 Solar to see if someone could come out to see what was going on. The owner JP talked me through a simple fix over the phone by restarting the system, and it worked! He called me within an hour of my initial call and was so helpful.

Great experience with JP and 512 Solar. From the moment I contacted them, I have had nothing but a great experience with this company. JP responded to my bid within hours and once I decided to go with them, they had everything installed within a week or two. I contacted 512 Solar with a question a few months after install and JP got back to me the same day, he even offered to get on the phone and walk me through the issue (which ended up being just my wifi connection to the solar inverter dropping out)

An update to my original review, we were so happy with 512 Solar that we decided to have another 10-panels installed. The team at 512 Solar mounted the initial 22-panels in a way that allowed us to easily expand our system. Updated photo shows all 32-panels installed.
