After the hail storm 10/23 here in Austin III Kings was the first roofing company to contact me. I was very impressed with the young man and decided to do business with them.
I was told (by my Ins adjuster, with III Kings sitting next to us) that I'd be getting a new roof, gutters, screens and siding.
If you're getting a new roof I can't recommend them highly enough.
If you're getting anything peripheral (screens, gutters, etc) I can recommend you run away from them as fast as possible.
The roof was done in a matter of weeks. I was so impressed I referred 5 friends/neighbors to them. Mistake.
It took months to get screens and gutters due to III Kings insistence on taking the cheapest bids and dragging their feet.
7 months into the debacle it took me contacting their home office in Dallas to find out if I was ever going to receive my referral fees (which I have no doubt would have never gotten to me without my persistent calling).
At the end of this all I still do not have any new siding and/or paint (needed new siding to get paint....).
So much for being told, repeatedly, ""we won't finish until you're 100% satisfied"" and ""we're going to make your house a showroom house"".
The icing on the cake is one of my neighbors (last week, 9 months after I referred them to him) just got his house painted (per III Kings). A painter showed up with a 1 gallon can of paint and a brush to paint an 1800 sq foot house.
I apologized repeatedly and how him lunch for going through the same pain(s) I did.

A great company to deal with! Easy to work with and they handled all of my issues and dealt with my insurance directly

Great service and price! Jack was AMAZING, very professional, very easy to work with and kept in touch during the entirety of the process. Crew did a great job cleaning up after they finished. They completed the job in only 1 day as well! I will definitely use 3 Kings in the future and highly suggest you do the same!

Four stars - even though this is the only business name presented, they handled our roof AND cars after hail storm. Roofing company damaged 2 bushes during roof replacement - never received replacement bushes or gift card to replace them. More aggravating is the loaner car they provided for us while they had our car with their PDR subcontractor leaked oil all over our driveway. They sent guy to power wash - he claims they didn't tell him about oil spill so while the power washing helped fade the tractor marks from tractor used during roof replacement, it did nothing to the oil spots. Additional check came for roof repair from insurance company came, which we mistakenly said we'd exchange once they finished their jobs (replacing bushes and oil stains), they quickly got defensive and made unprofessional and accusatory remarks which confirmed our initial gut feeling that they weren't being sincere or truthful. So we said forget it about driveway and bushes and turned over check - sales guy said he'd still make sure it would get done. That was over a month ago. Our bad for not cancelling when our gut instincts said to. Roofing companies are a dime a dozen - go with someone that is referred by trusted friends or family - I won't make the mistake of using someone a neighbor or community member suggests - they get referral fees. Money talks, and integrity walks. I've hesitated to post because I've heard and seen several instances where negative reviewers are bullied but it's more important to me that I report honestly to let others know. The car repairs looked good and roof replacement has been fine so far so that's where four stars comes in. But we won't do repeat business with a company that doesn't follow thru on the small stuff.

3 Kings Roofing came a knockin' in 2021, a few months after the hail storm we had back in April, to try to get our business and have our insurance pay them to fully replace our roof. They said a lot of homes in the area had been badly hit by the hail storm, and they were doing work in the neighborhood. We ended up having to pay about $1000 out of pocket all in all which wasn't too bad, and they had the work completed very quickly, a day and a half and it was done, which was very nice. But... just a few months later at the very first good rain storm, we noticed over our master bedroom ceiling, a water stain on the ceiling (football sized) that was never there before. We marked the outline, and realized it was wet on that spot. Prior to the roof replacement it had never had a leak or water stains so we knew it was from the work on the roof. My husband and I called the same guy who came a 'knockin' on our door and was the sales guy for this company, and he took my husband's initial phone call, but told my husband he'd arrange a time to swing by, and then never picked his phone back up or called to arrange to come by, and we were never able to get back in touch with him.. he just flat out ghosted us. I then tried contacting the company through their contact form a couple months ago, asking them to get in touch, and someone did, stating they'd try to find someone. Well - it's been 2 months, and the person they said they found has never gotten in touch with me, and it just seems like the company doesn't want to do the right thing. Because we can't wait around anymore, I'll hire a local roofing expert that I trust, to come out and repair the area, so I know it won't leak anymore. Just be weary of hiring them for your roof repairs, because you may be left with damage that someone else will have to fix, and you may be out your $.

Huge mistake!! 3 Kings came to our neighborhood in December 0f 2021. My dear friend and fellow Veteran who lived next door said they were reputable and he was going to have them re-roof their house. Cody from 3 Kings asked if they could take a look at our roof and I thought why not. I trusted my neighbor and knew that he was a stickler for quality work. There is not enough room in this review to tell you everything that went horribly wrong. I should have just left my roof the way it was. The sad thing, above all else, is that I recommended them to my Vietnam Veteran friend and another elderly lady in our neighborhood. The destruction they caused to his home is in the photos below. His wife's walk-in closet ceiling collapsed after the roof leaked. The damage was extensive. My heart sunk when he called me over to show me the damage. His roof was a mess. You can see this from the pictures below. Well, the same crew from 3 Kings that roofed my house, roofed my friends. With regard to our home, it is steel-framed, this is important because after the roof was finished within a week, it came a substantial downpour. Days later my wife noticed dark lines that were very visible running the entire length of our cathedral ceilings. You could actually see the screws that attached the drywall to the steel rafters. As the former HOA vice-president, everyone in our neighborhood has been in our house over the last seven years and they would all tell you those lines never existed until 3 Kings reshingled our home. 3 Kings sent Service Pro out and they try to tell me that it was caused by soot from the gas fireplace. I didn't realize that soot was magnetic and could actually work its way through the drywall to expose the outline of the drywall screws an inch deep. So, according to Serve Pro and 3 Kings, it is my problem. My concern, above all else, was the fear that my wife could be harmed if they didn't get this right. She has advanced-stage lung cancer. I called my insurance company and had another inspector come out after 3 Kings reinspected my roof (since my neighbor's ceiling collapsed) and said they found a few issues that they fixed. Facia boards beat up, shingles that are not attached to the roof (those will be gone as soon as the first wind storm comes along), and no drip-edge along the entire parameter of our house. This is in violation of local and state building codes. That is insurance fraud, plain and simple. Three homes in an upscale neighborhood that have had significant issues with 3 Kings. And, yes, they sent me a notice of a Mechanics Lien on our property because I am holding the last payment. Dustin, the owner of 3 Kings indicated that if I would pay them, they would be more than happy to fix those items on the ""punch"" list. I have asked for a written contract that specifies what they will actually be repairing including an itemized list of materials and work previously concluded. To date, still no response to that request. I am a Desert Storm Veteran, educator for over 28 years, and the caregiver for my wife. I just wanted my roof done to the standard that 3 Kings, ""We pride ourselves on being the ""best"" roofing company in TX, OK, CO, MO, AR, and Iowa.""

I used 3Kings for new roof gutters and screens. They broke the latch on my gate
Their fix to bandaide it back together. I had cedar wood they tried the bandaid with pine. The roofers sent here didn't know what to do with the gate latch. Had to get it fixed myself. They bent up a piece of flashing on the roof during the shingle work allowing water access. Their fix was they just wanted to chalk it. I asked to make it look like the other side (not bent up) the way it was before the roofers damaged it. Couldn't do it. They bandaid all repairs. Like someone else mentioned once the BBB was notified they seemed somewhat concerned then. Get ur permitted roof inspected by the city inspectors as it should be. If they reply to this they'll say how they tried to work with me. They'll mention how screens and gutter work are done by 3rd party contractors like that makes 3Kings not liable. I didn't send those 3rd party contractors to my house nor even know what companies they were. 3 Kings inspects nothing not even the work done by the roofers. I will thank 3Kings for 1 thing, you taught me a lesson. Do not pay this company the final insurance check until all damaged work has been fixed correctly. I made that mistake.

$40,000 worth of damage they say they're not responsible for yet they are the people that did the roof and did not secure it properly, as it rained that night in my roof fell in. We personally added a patio cover and that was their excuse that our signed contract was No good. Then they had the audacity to send a bill for $500 run from this company. Thank God for home insurance

This company is notorious for scamming contractors out of money. They lie to their customers and when the customer tries to contact them, they conveniently don't answer the phone. They owe several contractors thousands of dollars and refuse to pay or give backup documentation for what has been paid out. I don't recommend them to anyone. Dishonesty is not a way to run a business.

3 kings called me and asked if they could check my property for hail damage and I said yes. There Rep came and found all kinds of damage. After 2 insurance company inspections, Only $2500.00 of damage was found. This all started over 3 months ago and they have yet to repair ANYTHING and I cant even get an estimate on the repairs I need. I have started to try and fix whatever I can but as a senior citizen this is not easy.
All I get from my Rep is excuses and delays. If its not a big money job they just dont seem to care. Unreliable and unprofessional!!!!
