The PROJECT: We wanted the metal siding on our front wall of our house to be painted. Not sure why the builder or the designer of the house thought it was okay to just leave it as is?! Anyhoo, it kept bothering me every time we would do a walk through prior to moving in. After a month of moving in, my husband finally agreed to get it painted. Time to find a painter!

The PROS: Let me just start by saying Mike Loar is the man! He came out to our home in SE Austin to give us a quote last week, Thursday. One week out, our paint project is complete! Super responsive via email, excellent pricing, and superb quality!! Juan and Omar were our painters... these guys are truly rock stars! The end result far exceeded our expectations!!

If you're looking for a painter, look no further! I seriously can't wait to begin another home project!

I've dealt with a lot of contractors the past three years and I guess I just had settled for anything when it came to home stuff. I was reserved simply due to having large sums of cash just disappear and the contractor bail (this isn't an uncommon problem in ATX).

We contacted 21st Century Painting and Roofing for a quote before the year ended and explained we would be a few months out since we were trying to put our yard back together due to another bad contractor. Gary was nice, gave a reasonable quote and even had a few connections in the neighborhood. Gary's consultation was a pleasant experience and made me feel comfortable with the company because of the interaction.

This week, on Monday, a crew came out and started to prep our house. They came everyday, on time, and worked hard from the moment they arrived until they left. Kip came and went over colors with us, even helped pick the one that tied it all together and made it look amazing! We've had several neighbors drive by and yell ""Looks awesome!"" from their cars.

Five star experience! Gary and crew gave me a new hope in contractors again. All the good reviews aren't hype, it's the real deal! I'll be back to have my shingles replaced by the 21st here soon because their work ethic and attention to detail is a amazing and worth every penny.

Wow!!! These guys stand by their work!! They painted the exterior of my home over a year ago. A home inspection revealed a few small issues with the exterior and they came out immediately to address those issues and apologized for having missed them the first time. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!! This company is superb in every way. The price was very competitive and I appreciated Mike's communication with me regarding the estimate and schedule. Hector (the painter) was wonderful. He worked fast but was very professional and thorough. A real perfectionist! He was courteous, cheerful and also communicated very well with me. He left touch-up paint and I figured I would find tiny areas that I would need to take care of the next day since that's to be expected. I haven't found one! I'll definitely hire again!

Gary and his team do great work and are people of integrity. They're also accommodating - case in point, I now live three hours away from my property in Austin, but I had some repairs I needed since the house is currently occupied by tenants. 21st Century completed the work, and were patient with my questions and requests. Most important to me, they were able to do everything via phone or e-mail since I couldn't be there in person. It's anxiety-inducing to know your house has issues that you can't see or fix since you're so far away, but 21st Century saved the day for me.
