I called 214 Roofing to do a roof inspection. Brenda was very helpful in giving information regarding roofing/hail damage/insurance claims, and Lolo came to do a very transparent inspection. Fortunately my roof still had some life and as a first time homeowner I appreciate this information and transparency.

Needed to have roof repaired after hail storm. They have the best crew I have run across in the last 30 years. They worked with me to ensure I got the shingles that I wanted, in this case, class 4. Came in and cleared out the old shingles, setup and installed the new shingles including repairing a portion of the roof that was not noticed before but rotten. The lady running the show worked diligently to ensure the insurance covered all aspects so I didn't have to pay out of pocket for anything. I don't believe I will need a new roof again. This one should last the rest of my time in my home just due to the expertise of the people at 214 roofing.

214Roofing seemed at first to be the best choice for my roof replacement after the March 2016 hailstorm. I received a $10,000 invoice and paid half down so the work could start. Over the next 3 weeks, I learned that the company didn't pull a permit (required for replacement of wood in FW), left downspouts hanging on my house, and did not replace damaged flashing. They also did not know that where a wall meets a roof, they should do ""stepped flashing."" Having to educate your roofer is disheartening. They also left an 8 foot piece of drip edge hanging horizontally away from my second story roof. Just sloppy work, imo. The punch line was when they tried to bill me $4000 more than the original invoice amount because they ""got more money for me for the painters."" They wanted a ""cut."" I didn't ask them to do that and since they weren't my painters, I didn't pay it. They are unethical. I also had to hire another roofer to fix a leak in my one-month-old new roof! I would never recommend this company to anyone. They tried to scam me, my insurance company, as well as my hometown.

214 Roofing came out to my house quickly (it's best to call them), and gave me a very competitive estimate. They worked with me and my insurance to make sure I got the money I needed for my roof and other hail damaged items. They allowed me to upgrade to a better shingle for a nominal fee, worked quickly, did great work, and cleaned up after themselves. They also made a very noticeable effort during the job to keep the jobsite (my home) as clean as possible. HIGHLY recommend them!
