Waited a year to do the review wanted to make sure everything was great!!! They did a new roof for a property we owned and we had a great experience from Tom coming to our home and going over our options and pricing. To the crew coming out and doing amazing work they used what Tom called a catch all system and they left no mess or nails anywhere the nets seemed to work great!!! After the job was done even heard from a guy named Ken to follow up with us on how the process went. A year later and no issues at all!! I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!!!

Our roof was hurting, 23 years and some soft spots! 1st Choice came out and quoted, had materials, and installed in less than 2 weeks! I couldnt believe it, we have a good sized roof and it was riped and started install on day one! The staff was super easy to work with and extremely friendly, 10/10 would recommend

In July of 2019 we had a full roof replacement done by 1st Choice Roofing on our flat roof . About 6 months later we called and requested someone come out and examine the roof because of large amounts of water ponding on the roof. A 1st Choice Roofing tech came out and assured us the roof was totally fine and nothing to be concerned about. We called about this complaint well within our warranty period and 1st Choice has record of us calling and them coming out. We recently accepted an offer to sell out home. A home inspector failed the roof that was replaced by 1st Choice. Per the inspector the roof shows severe deterioration caused by water ponding. We had a 3rd party licensed roofing company in Pasco county come out and give an opinion. They agreed completely that this roof is beyond repair and needs a full replacement. They also agreed the damage was caused by the ponding of water . Both inspector and other roofer agreed this roof was never sloped properly and it is not level. We called 1st Choice on 3/31 and spoke to Courtney. She scheduled an appointment for someone to come out on Wednesday 4/5. I said great but I need a call back from an owner/supervisor. This roof is stopping the sale of my home and I have 2 professional opinions that this roof was poorly done . I stressed I need this matter resolved quickly because the sale of my home in pending on this roof . I did not receive a call back on 3/31. I called again 4/3 and asked for a call back and did not receive a call. I called again on 4/4 and did not receive a call back from an owner or supervision. On 4/5 a tech named Ryan came out to inspect. He stated he had several concerns and would pass the info on to Tom and we would get a call back that day. We did not receive a call. Today is 4/6 and I have called several times and left several messages and have yet to speak to anyone in charge concerning the poor quality of this roof replacement and how 1st Choice plans to fix this situation. We paid $3900 for a new flat roof in 2019 . It looks like we will be paying for a brand new again in 2023 because 1st Choice has yet to offer us a solution on the poor quality work that was done in 2019. I cannot stress enough to find yourself a different roofing company.

I found 1st Choice Roofing from a preferred contractor list through the MySafeFL program. From the salesman to communication with the office throughout the job, A+++ has been earned! The workers were professional and friendly. Workmanship was superb. There was a supervisor on the site most all of the time. They even corrected the pool cage roof tie-in to fix a leak. All of the paperwork was filed quickly and they even provided all of the documentation for testing requirements and wind resistance.

Although price was not a major factor for me, their quotes were very competitive and I don't think I could have done better!

This company refuses to honor a 10 year warranty on a roof which they installed, they refuse to send someone to check an issue with the roof, so I do not recommend them to do any work in your property.

I am not sure why they have a lot of 5 star reviews , what is more important than installation is after service, in this case we lost our insurance because of them , they did not want to come and check the roof and fix it after I called many times to tell them that will lose our insurance if they don't come and fix the problem that we had ( they said by looking at picture that there is no problem), instead they sent en mail to insurance saying , no this is good , no need to fix anything.

We all know how hard it is to obtain insurance at an affordable price in Florida.

Every time I call , the owner is in a meeting , they did
not want to fulfill their warranty which is good for 10 years.

Filed a complaint with BBB and will file complaint with Florida department of business to see if we can hold them to the contract

Amazing experience. From the initial consultation to the completion of our roof replacement project, our experience exceeded our expectations. From the owner Tom, sales Mike, project leads Taylor and Jesus and the crew the communication and execution of our roof replacement was seamless. Very hard working , efficient and respectful team, who was able to replace our 3000 sq ft roof in 1 day 1/2 from start to finish. The price was fair and we shopped around. 1st Choice did a fantastic job. The job site was kept clean and they picked up all garbage when they were done each day.
The price quoted was the price we were charged and they only took 1 1/2 days to complete the job.
We are very happy that we choose them to do our new roof.
