We received an advertisement from 1Stop Builders via someone canvasing the area since they were working on a project in the neighborhood. My husband met the individual but he must've been extremely nice and well spoken because usually my husband doesn't interact much with solicitors. A appointment was scheduled for them to come by and quote us for a front yard landscaping project. From this point on till the end of the project I cannot express how amazing everyone who we encountered during this project was to us.

They were VERY accommodating to us and when we realized we had a previous engagement scheduled for the same time they were suppose to come and quote us they had no problem rescheduling and arrived on time for the appointment. The two individuals who arrived were Brandon and Johnny, both great people to work with. They listened to every detail of what we had in mind, we even had handmade drawings prepared for them which they loved and helped us imagine what materials would be used. They were AMAZING working with us regarding the budget. I imagine our budget was on the smaller side but they worked HARD to get the project quote to fit it by recommending different materials that could be used in different areas that were cheaper to get the look we wanted and even went as far as to piggy back off of their other projects to save on transportation of materials being hauled away or brought to the house. These two spent close to 4 hours working with us that day on the quote, even though there was no guarantee we would go with them. This was JUST the quote!

Project started immediately, the very next day in fact. The men were there 8am sharp and it was a crew working hard for the next few days to create the front yard we always dreamed of. At least every day or every other day Johnny or Brandon would contact us to keep us updated on the work done or to ask if there was any concerns we had with any particular part of it. They made sure to create the image we had from our drawings and even worked hard to find the exact plants we wanted. I never had any trouble at all contacting them at any moment, it was phenomenal. Their main office even contacted me to let me know if at anytime I couldn't get a hold of Brandon or Johnny I could contact them. Brandon or Johnny would stop by and examine the progress and if they felt something wasn't up to par they immediately had it fixed. Our satisfaction was their greatest goal.

This has turned out to be quite the long review but I just wanted to really show how happy we were because this was something we had been saving up years for and it's always a scary thing to put down a lot of money on something that you're having created. The front yard of our dreams was made and they made us feel like we were family to them the whole time. They even helped me find out information on other concerns I had with my house because they were genuinely concerned about them too when I showed them in passing. 1Stop Builders treated us like family the whole time and I certainly will be doing business with them in the future and will be recommending them to anyone who asks!

I hired one stop builders for the roof on my rental house in Sherman oaks. The service was reliable, workers came on time, the inspections passed first time and most importantly, the area was spotless from any nails or debris.
The price was also right on!

1Stop Builders knocked on our door and asked if we were considering doing any construction work. They were apparently doing another job in the neighborhood (which I did not verify). I had been considering putting a new patio cover up at the back of my home here on Stevenson Ranch, so I asked them for a quote.

A sales guy/project manager called the next day, and proposed a two-layer, foam insulated aluminum cover, and showed me a sample. It looked great, we negotiated a price, and signed a contract. They took precise measurements, and started the process to apply for a permit.

That's where the trouble started. We learned two weeks later that L.A. County had refused the permit on the basis that the foam is a fire hazard. We were surprised that 1Stop didn't know that L.A. County would refuse a permit for such a design in the unincorporated part of the Santa Clarita Valley. They then proposed a single layer, non-insulated aluminum cover instead, but more than seven weeks after the contract was signed, work was still not started, and we had to cancel the contract.

Someone approached my husband for a free quote to fix our backyard. He scheduled an appointment for a week out and Ron came right on time. We had planned our doing our backyard sense we bought the house as a fixer upper and we never got around to it. Ron is very knowledgeable and very nice and was able to work with our budget. He made things super easy to do. He met and exceeded our expectations and the work is beautiful in our backyard. He also did some lighting in our kitchen by removing the old school rectangle looking lights and patching that up and putting in some Halo lights. Our backyard was a literal desert waste land and completely transformed over a few weeks time. Ron was so kind and on top of it he made sure to communicate with us every step of the way with multiple check ins during the week and was always able to get back to us when we had a question. He really made the process so easy and stress free. Ron is the best! Ask for Ron!

That smug little jerk passing out your fliers has no respect for Homeowners who have sleeping children OR work nights and sleep days. he knocked even when it was posted ""Do Not Disturb"" then he stood back and laughed. I would never use your company just from the lack of respect of people you hire to drum up business. a SCV resident has him on camera disrespecting their wishes.

My husband and I were going back and forth on what we should do regarding our kitchen and the cabinets in them. Reface, refinish or replace! Well David and his business partner Daniel from 1StopBuilders truly helped us solve our dilemma. They went through each scenario step by step and helped us weigh the pros and cons of each. They were complete professionals and did not push us to make any rash decisions. We also added a powder room, removing grout from tile floors, recess lighting and ceiling fans in two rooms along with crown molding. The entire job took about 3.5 weeks to complete and everything looks amazing.

I want to acknowledge a couple of people in particular for making the job happen. We were on a tight deadline and these guys pushed the envelope to make sure they met that deadline. Arlo, the electrician/plumber was awesome. He really worked hard to get all of the wiring and plumbing up to code and pass inspection. I would like to also acknowledge Jason, who painstakingly removed all the ugly green grout that was in our tile floors as well as in our fireplace tile. That was a big job and he did it in less than 2 days along with putting up our backsplash. Everyone was awesome and they did a fabulous job. My husband and I absolutely love our new kitchen and bathroom.
